Your Ultimate Guide to Travelling to Tábor for the World Cyclo-cross Championships

Getting to Tábor

By Train on Regular Days (Including Friday): Trains will stop at Tábor's main station. The event venue is conveniently accessible from here – a quick 10-minute ride by public transport or a scenic 45-minute walk.

Special Train Arrangements for Saturday and Sunday: In collaboration with České dráhy, additional train services are arranged for the event weekend. Trains from Prague will include an extra stop at Čápův dvůr, just a short walk from the race track. Additionally, on Sunday, the main race day, a special CX train will run directly from Prague to Tábor and return to Prague after the last race. The schedule for this service will be announced in due course.

By Car: Visitors driving to Tábor are encouraged to use designated parking areas as indicated on our parking map available on the website. We ask that you respect local residents by parking responsibly in marked spaces and consider using public transportation from your parking location to the event venue.

Why Choose Train Travel?

Opting for train travel is not only convenient but also environmentally friendly, helping to reduce traffic congestion and emissions. It's a fantastic opportunity to meet fellow cyclo-cross fans and share in the excitement of the event. Furthermore, it is only a 1-hour ride from Prague.
